I have been going to the beach most sundays for the last couple of months to make sand castles. I've been teaching some friends to do it too and we have progressed to some simple sand sculptures.
I have been teaching some friends how to do it, using techniques that I learnt form a book I bought many years ago. You can find the latest incarnation of the book at Sandcastles Made Simple.
It uses a technique called hand stacking, which I'll document in a later post.
